About the NCIL Employment-Social Security Subcommittee

The Employment-Social Security Subcommittee works in the field and with NCIL staff, members, and community-based partners to  monitor, interact with, and improve Social Security and Social Security Act public policy that affect adults, young adults, and children with disabilities, with emphasis on increasing employment  and economic equity outcomes. It reports timely to the NCIL Board and members, while performing community-based policy activities with NCIL members, NCIL collaborative policy partners, and beneficiaries of Social Security disability benefits.
