About the NCIL Youth Caucus

The National Council on Independent Living is committed to embracing and enhancing the value of diverse populations of people with disabilities. The NCIL Youth Caucus, a part of the NCIL Diversity Committee, is open to all NCIL youth members, ages 26 and under, who want to connect and advocate for change with other youth with disabilities.

The Youth Caucus is committed to cultivating a safe and empowering space for youth with disabilities to engage in the IL and disability rights movement by enhancing youth participation and leadership at NCIL.

The newly re-launched NCIL Youth Caucus could be a great fit for you. It is a place where each member has the opportunity to voice their ideas about national policies that affect people with disabilities and facilitate change. We have monthly calls on various days of each month. Please contact Youth Caucus Co-Chairs Emily Robinson ([email protected]), Molly Spencer ([email protected]), and Isaac Zwinger-Nathanson ([email protected]) for more information.

NCIL Youth Caucus Releases Thank You 2015 Annual Conference Sponsors Video

The NCIL Youth Caucus thanks the generous donations from sponsors for youth participation in NCIL’s 2015 Annual Conference on Independent Living. Gifts from donors you made it possible for us to have the largest youth participation that we have ever had at the NCIL Conference! We would like to show how much those contributions made an impact on Generation ADA. Here is a link to a video that expresses our sincere gratitude.
