Resources

Vendors:

If you choose to use a vendor, you will want to place your order at least three weeks before the date you need it delivered.

Tips

  • After converting your file to Word or plain text, check to see that your content has converted properly. If it doesn’t look right, it will not read properly.
  • Make sure that image descriptions and embedded links came through. You will likely have to add them manually.
  • Complete these steps before using your Word or plain text files to create your audio file.

About Audio Files

The vendors above can create audio files for you using Word or plain text files (and sometimes PDFs). Additionally, zamzar.com is a free resource you can use to convert your file to mp3 format. You can then place that file on USBs along with the plain text (.txt) file.
