Roads To Independence (RTI) is a non-profit, grassroots, advocacy organization by and for people with disabilities. RTI assists individuals with disabilities live as independently as possible. Core services include Advocacy, Information and Referral, Life Skills Training, Peer Support, Recreation, Assistive Technology and Transition Services in Davis, Morgan and Weber Counties.

RTI is currently hiring for the following positions:

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering phones and providing assistance to for walk-ins, performing general office support for staff, maintain records, and assisting with our equipment loan program.

AgrAability Resource Facilitator

This position works with farmers and ranchers with disabilities throughout the state. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, outgoing, enthusiastic individual with a background in agriculture and experience working with persons with disabilities, social services, or the medical field. This position will work one-on-one with farmers and ranchers in Southern and Eastern Utah.

Assistive Technology Coordinator

The Assistive Technology (AT) Coordinator provides intake/assessment with individuals with disabilities to acquire AT (porch lifts, stair-glides, wheelchairs, etc.) and is any item, software, or system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

Independent Living Specialist (ILS)

The ILS is responsible for working with all ages and types of people with disabilities in setting and maintaining goals to become independent or maintain one’s independence in the community.

Maintenance Technician/Assistive Technology Coordinator

The Maintenance/AT Coordinator will install, troubleshoot, repair, and/or maintain building equipment, buildings, and grounds of RTI, related properties, as well as fulfill fee for service schedule of maintenance and repairs, coordinate/oversee and/or install Assistive Technology.

Maintenance Technician/Driver

Performs diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and/or maintain building equipment, buildings, and grounds of RTI, related properties, and Assistive Technology. In addition, the individual will provide transportation for people with disabilities and delivering equipment utilizing RTI’s vehicles to planned activities and events (occasional nights and weekends).

Youth Life Skills Instructor

RTI is seeking a Youth Life Skills Instructor that will work with youth with disabilities (5 to 24). Youth Life Skills Instructor will provide: Intake/assessment, Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), life skills, IEP/504 advocacy, college/employment readiness, and implement training curriculum, etc.
