2022 Workshop Proposal Form July 25-28 (Grand Hyatt, Washington, DC); August 1-3 (Virtual Workshops) NCIL is excited to announce our 2022 Annual Conference on Independent Living! The theme of NCIL’s 2022 Annual Conference is Forging Justice. This year’s conference will be NCIL’s first-ever hybrid conference, with options for in-person and virtual participation. Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 18, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Priority will be given to workshops that address the theme through the lens of intersectionality and disability justice. [ ] Virtual Poster Session: A poster session is the presentation of research information with an academic or professional focus. Posters are displayed throughout the NCIL Conference space at the discretion of the presenter. [ ] Virtual Film Screenings: Documentaries and other films that address disability from the Independent Living perspective. Film must be captioned and voice described to be considered. Audio Visual & Technology Support If your workshop is virtual, NCIL will provide the webinar platform (via Zoom), a host, and technical support for your webinar.
