Overview

Level 5B centers on the Independence Foyer, a large open registration and exhibit area. All meeting rooms open directly or indirectly off this foyer.

Participants arriving from the escalator enter the conference level at the northwest portion of the foyer. Restrooms, the Registration / Help Desk, and the main passenger elevator are all located close to the escalator.

About midway through the foyer, are the Independence Ballroom to the South and Lafayette / Farragut Room to the North.

Nearing the far East side of the foyer, are the staff room due East and Franklin / McPherson to the Northeast.

The largest space on the floor is the Independence Ballroom. The ballroom can be divided into multiple sections using removable walls. The center section is labeled Independence A.
