New Horizons DEC is a “Center for Independent Living” (CIL) which is not a residential facility. We help all people with any disAbility in Northern Arizona to live the most independent, self-direct life possible.

The driving force behind our mission and vision is the “IL Philosophy”.

NHDEC HQ is located in the beautiful Central Highlands of Arizona, in the fast growing community of Prescott Valley. We operate a 9000 sqft building with an adaptive Gym, outside Tennis and Basketball courts for our Adaptive Fitness Programs. We also house program space for comprehensive Info and referral, a computer lab, small groups and classes, durable medical equipment loan closet, and a huge transportation division.

NHDEC also works closely with ADOT, CYMPO and the Town of Prescott Valley to operate the new Public Transit system in Prescott Valley, and will be expanding this program to Prescott and Beyond.

We have big plans, high hopes, and a great reputation- but now we need a powerful new Leader, to help us manage our growth, and stabilize our operations.

This person reports directly to the Board of Directors.

People with Disabilities are encouraged to apply.

We are a fragrance free facility.
