NCIL is pleased to announce the first phase of the rollout of our new Membership Center!
NCIL staff has worked diligently for the past year to identify, build, and launch our Member Center, which will serve as a space for NCIL members to connect with each other, renew their memberships, and gain access to members-only content. We want to provide everyone with a more streamlined, modern, and useful membership experience.
Rollout Phase I
This first phase of our rollout plan involves introducing the platform, helping people get signed in, and renewing individual and organizational memberships as necessary.
Logging In
To log in to the Member Center, visit members.ncil.org and click Log In.
- Your username: the email address associated with your NCIL membership
- Your password: NCIL2023!
Upon your first successful log in, you will be prompted to update your password.
If you have any difficulties, please contact [email protected]. Please be patient as we work though requests for assistance and we will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
Once you are successfully logged in, you can click on My Biography and add information about yourself and a photo. Please add an image description for your photo if you choose to use one.
Expanded Benefits for Organizations
This membership platform also allows CILs and SILCs more opportunities for staff participation at NCIL. NCIL member organizations will now have the option to register their staff as Associate Members free of charge.
Associate Members will be added to NCIL’s email distribution lists, receive discounted conference registration, and have the ability to serve on NCIL committees.
If your organization’s membership is current, any staff who do not hold a current individual membership can become an Associate Member by using the Membership Application for Individuals. They must select the Member Organization Associate option and then select their member organization from the list. They can then select a username (email address) and password. Please note: the system does not allow duplicate email addresses.
If your organization’s membership has lapsed, renew today! When you renew your organization’s membership using the Membership Application for Organizations, you will be prompted to add additional individuals. You must enter a username (email) and password for each Associate Member. Please note: the system does not allow duplicate email addresses.
Voting Privileges for Associate Members: Voting privileges will remain with the main contact of the member organization. If an Associate Member would like voting privileges, they must purchase an individual membership.
Rollout Phase II
The next phase will be opening Annual Conference registration through the Member Center. This year, NCIL will host an onsite Annual Conference in Washington, DC. Virtual access will include a few livestreamed events and archived access to events throughout the week. Virtual access will be offered as a benefit of NCIL membership (and will also be available to onsite registrants).
Accessibility
If you experience any accessibility issues, please contact [email protected] with a detailed description and we will get them fixed as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance for providing input on your user experience.
